| SECOND SYMPOSIUM OF CROATIAN BRANCH OF INTERNATIONAL POWER SUPPLY CONFERENCE |

Under the sponsorship of the Ministry of economics, labour and enterprise, the Croatian electric-power supply and the international association CIRED, the Second Symposium HO CIRED, will take place in Umag from May 16 – 19, what is at the same time the eighth symposium on the power supply activity CIGRE. HO CIRED is a nonprofit association gathering a wide circle of experts in the area of the power supply activity, with the scope of increasing their professional competences and capabilities, skills and knowledge. HO CIRED is also dealing with organizational, professional and scientific issues in the sphere of production, transmission and distribution of electric power, same as of electric equipment. The first independent symposium of HO CIRED was held in Šibenik in year 2008, at which occasion was also presented the accompanying technical exhibition. The symposium was prepared and held pursuant to up-to-date criteria, and was evaluated as most successful, as in terms of its contents, so also per its organization. It was attended by more than 400 participants and some thirty exhibitors of the electric power supply sector. According to the Symposium schedule, on Tuesday, May 18, the specialists from Elka will present the novelties from the cable production area, under the subject “Constructional solutions of 64/110 kV high voltage cables”. Beside Elka, the Symposium will attend numerous other companies from electric power supply area, such as Dalekovod, Končar, Tyco-Encron, Schneider Electricsa, ABB, and other. published on 13.05.2010. |
